THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF MC IS DISCUSSED AT OUR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, AND IS GUIDED BY OUR MEMBERS.

In election years, we work to keep members and residents informed on the major issues and to structure questions to identify candidate positions on these issues atall candidates meetings. Post elections we attempt to hold Council members accountable for the commitments theyhave made.

Our Newsletter is published quarterly and informs our members on what is happening within MC and provides updates on key issues in Mono & Mulmer.

When significant development issues (new aggregate mining proposals, official plan changes etc.) emerge, we work with local communities to gather information and to develop responses.

We regularly attend Council meetings to present positions regarding important local issues.

MC participates in community events, presents current topics of interest and works closely with other neighborhood community organizations that are faced with major issues and threats to their communities
